LGBT Rights and the November Election

There is a lot of uncertainty and much angst and consternation about what may be next for LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Transgender) Americans with the election of US President Donald Trump. This important presentation will provide a facts-based analysis and what could possibly change and how fast put together by Out & Equal Workplace Advocates, the US’s leading LGBT workplace advocacy organization.

Speaker Stan Kimer is a nationally-recognized diversity consultant with a deep expertise in LGBT workplace and marketplace diversity, and formed Total Engagement Consulting by Kimer after a 31-year career at IBM.

The Human Rights Campaign is the country's oldest and largest civil rights organization working for the LGBTQ community. In North Carolina, HRC has two steering committees, Charlotte and the Triangle.

Hear about the history of HRC in NC.

You will learn about all the investment of time and money that HRC has poured into NC this year to help try to overturn HB2 and elect politicians who are LGBT friendly.
